When it comes time to get chaparones for field trips or volunteers, etc., one problem we have is not knowing whether or not a parent had submitted a Criminal History Background Check and had been cleared at another campus. We sometimes turn parents away because we have no record of clearance for them, but they say they filled out the form with their other child at the middle school or high school. Is there a database we can access to find out who has clearance without having to call the middle or high schools and checking with them?

I can't make it to the meeting today, but I did have another question from my CIC...is there any way to put dyslexia info on iDataPorta or on the testing database? under Programs, we can see what students are identified Special Ed, but not students identified as dyslexic
